European Pilgrimage

Day 01 - India - Paris

We board the flight from Chennai Airport. We arrive at Paris late in the evening. We have dinner and overnight stay at Hotel HoliDay Inn St.Quentine or a Similar hotel.

Over the next few days, Bible Tours will take you to different Holy places and famouse landmarks in Europe. Starting from Paris, France to Vatican City.

  After the paper works at the Paris Airport, we rest for the day in a Hotel at Paris.
Day 02 - Paris

After Breakfast we proceed for a Tour of Paris. During the day we will visit the famous christian sites in Paris and the famouse landmarks and monuments in paris.

We visit the Norde Damm Cathedral, Concorde Square. Then we visit the Eiffel Tower. After an early dinner we proceed for a cruise in the river Seine. We end the day with an overnight stay at hotel.
- Cathedral of Notre Dame
  
  The Cathedral of Notre Dame, is dedicated to Virgin Mary. It also houses the ArchBishop of Paris.
  
  The Hail Mary was composed in the cathedral, the Vow of Louis XIII is sung every 15 August and conveys devotion to the Virgin, and the texts written by Claudel, Peguy and Cardinal Richard testify to particular fervour for Notre-Dame de Paris.
- Concorde Square
  
  The Concorde Square is the most beautiful place of Paris . With a surface of 84.000 square meters , the place offers a superb sight of the avenue of the Champs-Elysees in all its length and the Arch of Triumph, on a side, the Louvre and Gardens of Tuileries , on the other side.
- Eiffel Tower
  
  One of the most famous monument in the world and the symbol of France, the Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel in 1889 for the World Fair.

- River Siene
  
  After an early dinner, we spend the rest of the evning on a cruise on the River Siene, enjoying the beauty of the Paris.
Day 03 Paris - Lourdes

We proceed to Paris Station, after breakfast, to board your TGV to Lourdes. Bible Tours organises all your communtation. TGV is the fastest train in the world on tracks. Once in Lourdes, we check into Hotel Saint Rose. The closest hotel to the Sanctuary. We visit the Church. Then we finish the day with Dinner and an overnight at Hotel.

  We board the TGV, and travel to Lourdes, enjoying the ride on the fasted train on rails.
Day 04 - Lourdes

After Breakfast we visit the Sanctuary. Then we visit the Grotto and take a dip in the Holy pond. We also take part in the Mass at Grotto, Adoration and procession. We end the day with Dinner and an Overnight stay at hotel.

The pilgrimage of Lourdes is founded on the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin to a poor, fourteen-year-old girl, Bernadette Soubiroux.
- Lourdes Sanctuary
  
  The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes is an area of ground surrounding the shrine (Grotto) to Our Lady of Lourdes. We can lot of devotional activities in the Sanctuary. Its a very pleasant place.
  
  There are many churches in the Sanctuary
- Grotto
  
  The Grotto is the place where St Bernadette's visions took place.
  
  The spring Bernadette is said to have dug can be seen at the rear of the grotto
  
  Pilgrims can process through the grotto and it is traditional to touch the rocks directly under the statue. Also at the rear of the grotto is a metal box into which written prayers or petitions may be deposited.

  We can attend the Mass that takes place at the Grotto.
Day 05 - Toulose - Lisbon - Fatima

After Breakfast we proceed to Toulouse Airport and board the flight to Lisbon. Once in Lisbon, Portugal, we proceed to Fatima. We then Check into hotel De Fatima. Proceed to visit the church of our lady. Take part in the Holy Mass and Adoration. End the day with Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

  Some four million people visit Fatima each year, drawn by an appearance of the Virgin Mary in 1917 by three gifted shepherd children.

  We attend the Mass at Fatima.
Day 06 - Fatima

After Breakfast and Mass we proceed to visit the house of Jacinta and Francesco. Then on to the house of Lucia. These were the three children who had the vision of St.Mary. Then we sight of the apparition of the Angels and our lady to the three children. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
- Apparition of Angels and Our Lady
  
  We visit the sculpture commemerating the Apparation of the Angel and Our lady to the three children, and the three secret message.
- House of Jacinta and Francesco
  
  Jacento, Francesco and Lucia are the three children who had the vision of Mary at Fatima. All three children are beatified.
  
  Jacento and Francesco joined the abode of God in 1919.
- House of Lucia
  
  Sister Lucia, had many visions of Mary. And St.Mary conveyed many messages to the world through sisteer Lucia.
Day 07 - Lisbon - Milan - Padua

We proceed for a orientation tour of Lisbon, visit the Monastery of St.Jerome and the Cathedral. The birth place of St.Antony. We then board the flight to Milan. After arriving at Milan we proceed to Padua. We have Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
- Monastery of St.Jerome
  
  The monastery was built to commemorate Vasco da Gama's voyage to India and to give thanks or its success. It contains the world's most distinctive Manueline church.
- Birth Place St.Antony
  
  The house where St.Anthony was born in Lisbon was turned into a church, the Igreja de Santo António de Lisboa.
Day 08 - Padua - Venice - Assisi

After breakfast visit the Church of St.Antony. See his relics. Then proceed to Venice.

Bible Tours will also arrange a boat ride on the Grand Canal and then we visit St .Marks Cathedral and Square. Proceed to Assisi. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
- Saint Anthony's Basilica
  
  The Baslica of St.Anthony is the resting place of St.Anthony. When he died, the children cried in the streets and that all the bells of the churches rang of their own accord, rung by angels come to earth to honor the death of the saint.
  
  He is buried in a chapel (once a church, now enclosed by the current edifice) of the large Basilica of Saint Anthony in Padua.
- Boat Ride on Grand Canal
  
  The Grand Canal is the most important canal in Venice, Italy. It forms one of the major water-traffic corridors in the city.
- St.Marks Cathedral
  
  Since 1807 it has been the seat of the Patriarch of Venice, archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Venice.
  
  The upper order of the interior is completely covered with bright mosaics containing gold, bronze, and the greatest variety of stones.
Day 09 - Assisi - Rome

After Breakfast visit the church of St Francis of Assisi. After church visit Proceed to Rome. Arrive Rome for a hole Day sightseeing of Rome. Visit the colosseum, The Holy Steps, and Trevi Fountain . Dinner and overnight at hotel Selene or similar
- Basilica of St. Francis
  
  The grandiose, gorgeously embellished Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi is a rather incongruous memorial to a man who preached and lived a simple life of poverty, abstinence, and renunciation of worldly goods in search of greater spirituality.
- Colosseum
  
  The Colosseum is an elliptical amphitheatre in the center of the city of Rome, Italy, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire.
  
  Bible Tours covers Colosseum as part of the historic monuments in Italy.
- The Holy Steps
  
  A famous papal sanctuary located adjacent to the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome, the Holy Staircase is the actual steps that Jesus climbed the day He was sentenced. The stairs were ordered sent from Jerusalem to Rome by Saint Helena, mother of the Emperor Constantine in 334 A.D.
- Trevi Fountain
  
  It is largest Baroque fountain in the city. It is located in the rione of Trevi.
Day 10 - Rome - Vatican

Visit St.Peters Basilica , Vatican Museum and Sistine chapel Dinner and overnight at hotel. http://www.vatican.va/
- St.Peters Basilica
  
  St. Peter's Basilica was built at the place where Peter, the apostle, the first pope, was crucified and buried; his tomb is under the main altar.
- Vatican Museum
  
  The Vatican Museum inside the Vatican City, are among the greatest museums in the world, since they display works from the immense collection built up by Roman Catholic Church throughout the centuries.
- Sistine Chapel
  
  Sistine Chapel is the best-known chapel in the Apostolic Palace, the official residence of the Pope in Vatican City. Its fame rests on its architecture, evocative of Solomon's Temple of the Old Testament.
- Pope Benedict XVI
  
  If time permits we can witness Pope Benedict XVI
Day 11 Rome - Vatican

After breakfast, we pray in the holy city of vatican. Then we proceed to airport to board the flight to India.
- Rome Airport
  
  We finish the pilgrimage at the Vatican City, and board our flight back to India at the Rome Airport.

Carry Towel for a dip in Lourde’s Pond.

Punctuality will be strictly maintained in morning please assemble 15 minutes before the schedule time and also assemble after site visits on time.
